Another egg

This morning we have 3 eggs. She was fumbling around on the nest when we came down at 6 and when she popped off to eat there was a third. I wonder how many she'll have and if they will be fertile or not. It's like an exciting waiting game.

Look what we have

Well I have woken this morning to an egg in the nest. I can't believe it. Priscilla was sitting so low downg wondered if this was what she was hiding and lo and behold it was. I had better get some dummy eggs now eh?

Saturday evening in our house

Well It's not too exciting but i'm just cooking dinner with a glass of red wine. Obviously DRINKING the wine not cooking with it. I see that as a waste. ;) Neil will be having garlic steamed chicken with bacon & cheese potato skins & salad. I shall a having chicken & sweetcorn jacket with salad. Bit healthier than Neil's dinner. We don't have any canary eggs yet but Priscilla is sitting in her nest a lot so hopefully she'll lay soon - It's quite exciting. Will they be fertilised? Won't they be fertilised? It's like doing the lottery. Neil and I went to get a gait analysis done today too. We plan to start running. I'm scared. Lol I've never been able to run very far and I'm so unfit. We both are so, apart from the trainers It's a free sport so we decided to go for it - we aren't getting amy younger. Anyway, shall get on with dinner now.

Priscilla is busy

Priscilla has now built her nest after a long night of mating with wiggy. She loves to sit in it and she begs to be fed, something Wiggy hasn't quite mastered yet. Their egg food has been increased and they now have lots of greens to keep them busy. As i type she's asking for him to mate with her again. He seems far too occupied with eating to grant her request at the moment. She's pacified herself by tweaking her nest so It's perfect for her little arrivals.

It's so exciting.  I can't wait to get up every morning to see what her and Wiggy are doing.  What a lovely thing it will be to see them raise a clutch.
